A new light^^

Well, I recently got a 580 EX II flash, and have been practicing with it. It's a lot of fun. The photos in this post are all taken using it. Hope you enjoy them!

Hello again! Here are a couple of images to start it off.





This is on an island in South Korea. I like the contours of the water. It was quite beautiful.
























What can I say? It's garbage (or hopefully recycling). The messy symmetry struck me as interesting.




This was an experiment with a photo editing program. Not enough money for PS yet, so I go with the GIMP. Works well enough for me for now.

The beginning...

Hello! My name is Joshua Minor, and this is my first blog.



I'm new to this blogging thing, but have some friends who blog all the time. I decided it was time to give it a go.



One of the main reasons for creating this blog is to post my pictures that I have taken, and will continue to take. I've become very interested in photography in the last few years. I want to get into the business, in the areas of portrait, wedding, and children photography, in a few years. Currently, I am in Seoul, Korea, teaching English at an elementary school. I was a music major and have always been a fan of the arts. Photography has really excited me in the last few years, and hopefully you'll be able to enjoy the pictures that I take as much as I do.
